MEDITATE

Mindfulness

  • 10-15 minute deep breathing exercises and progressive muscle relaxation exercises in a seated position
  • There are lots of great guided meditation videos of Youtube that I find super helpful

Exercise

  • 30 minutes to an hour walk every day
  • Stretching
  • Anaerobic 30 minute full body workout 3 days a week (20 reps of each exercise):
    • Situps
    • Crunches
    • Modified Pushups
    • 3 Count Jumping Jacks
    • Arm Rotations
    • Plank
    • Bicycle Kicks
    • High Knees
    • Flutter Kicks
    • Mountain Climbers
    • Lunges
    • Windmills
    • Leg Lifts
    • Boot Slaps

Meditation

  • 30 minutes when I first wake up before I do anything else, I pray, go to my quiet place with the Lord in my mind, and meditate on Scripture (usually I will read a chapter a day out of the same book until I finish that book of the Bible)
